Also she dressed up as Cher for Halloween this past year so she got bonus friend points.
She ran around the bar lip syncing "Turn Back Time" all night long. It was fucking amazing.
However, Andrea does this one thing that seems sweet, but is really a trick.
You see whenever Andrea decides she has been eating too much bar food and goes on a diet, she always brings me presents. And by presents I mean super delicious amazing fatty food. What makes it worse is that because she knows me so well she knows the foods I can't resist. Monday she brought me a bacon caramel and a bacon chocolate chip cookie. She says she gives me these presents to be nice, but I know it is because she is trying to fatten the rest of us up to make her look even thinner in comparison. Which is ridiculous because she is already thin and gorgeous. Don't get me wrong I enjoy delicious treats, I just am always amused when she does this.
Do your friends do anything sneaky like this?

Wait. . .wha-WHAT!?!? Bacon chocolate chip cookie!?!? Umm, next time Andrea wants to "sabotage" you, please feel free to send those bad boys to Portland. I'm happy to take one for the team.
ReplyDeletePS: Can't wait to see you at BlogHer!
We worship Bacon in the south and put it in everything. Seriously we have bacon mochas, brownies, candied bacon, etc. We also have Bacon fest every fall.
DeleteActually, I'm the one in the office that brings treats for everyone. I just love the happy looks on everyone's faces!
ReplyDeleteSee you have good intentions. Andrea is trying to make me fat.
DeleteI'm guilty also: I'm the one that brings in treats. No to fatten people up though. I like to bake, but don't like eating baked goods. Therefore, I spoil my officemates.
ReplyDeleteWait. What do you mean you don't like eating baked goods?
DeleteI am the friend who tries to fatten up the other friends. They are none the wiser...
ReplyDeleteVery sneaky of you. Your friends will notice when they have gained 10 pounds.
DeleteI'm guilty...it's just easier to try to fatten my friends up than lose weight myself ;).
ReplyDeleteBacon cookies?? Where did she get these amazing foodstuffs? I must try some! :D
Coffee and Chocolate on Union avenue in downtown Knoxville.
DeleteMy friends are all gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThey paid me to say that.
:-)
Pearl
Did they pay you with candy?
DeleteThat is the best Halloween costume I've ever seen. EVER.
ReplyDeleteShe made every part of it except for the leather jacket.
DeleteMy friend Photoshops only the photos with her in it... Not ones where she isn't present...
ReplyDeleteWow your friend takes it to a whole new level.
DeleteShe is absolutely gorgeous, but if she brought me cookies, I'd know it's because she hates me. I am allergic.
ReplyDeleteYou're allergic to cookies? That is unfortunate.
DeleteShe certainly does NOT need to be on a diet. But she's very savvy. I mean, who could resist bacon paired with anything sweet? :D
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time I was a weight loss counselor and what you described was one of the biggest pet peeves of dieters: skinny friends (or spouses) that would forever sabotage their diets.
Great post!
Hey. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteBacon is my kryptonite.
I have the same love for my best friend too. She's the only person who can talk any season of Real Housewives. That's serious business!
ReplyDeleteNew Jersey and Atlanta are my favorites!!
DeleteNo she absolutely does not need to get thinner. And bacon what now? I don't get it... I have a girlfriend who I suspect tells you you look cute in a hideous outfit to make her outfit own look the tits...
ReplyDeleteLove Elle xo
A chocolate chip cookie with bacon pieces. It is amazing.
