What is a Good Name for an Elephant?

Look at what Mindy and I bought today!!

It is a 5 foot long double-headed wicker elephant bar.

We saw it a few months ago on an antique adventure. It was $375, but we got it on sale for $195.  Isn't it the most awesome thing you have ever seen? We are going to spray paint it gold with red accents.

Where does one put a 5 foot long double-headed wicker elephant bar?

In the mutherfucking living room

So what should we name it?

p.s. We should take a moment to mourn Beauford. He was gone when Mindy and I went back to the antique store. We are going to different antique stores next Saturday so keep your fingers crossed for me.

  1. That looks awesome in your living room! I'm sort of jealous. But why does it have to be an elephant? Of all the animals, elephants are by far the hardest to name. Usually something just pops into my head, but I got nothing for you. Good luck.

  2. That is incredible. I think a fitting name might be Whinston. Whinston the Wicker Elephant.

    1. I like Whinston. It makes him sound regal, but not pretentious.

  3. Ellie. As in Elle the Elephant. "But that's silly and cliche," you say? Allie the Alligator doesn't think so.

  5. When I was in 2nd grade I wrote a story about an elephant that came to my house to be a pet. My mother asked me why I named him Perfume in the story and my response was "because he smells like it".

So I'm going to go with Perfume since that's what I now call all elephants.

    1. Perfume is certainly an interesting choice. Wicker has a kind of odd smell though.

  8. I like Newt Whinston Perfume of India. But I go for long names as evidenced by Madame Butterfly Ruby Zubinka Tuesday and Roosevelt Prince William.
