It is hard being me Sometimes

You know how sometimes "Angels and Demons" comes on at 11 at night and you stay up to watch it because last time it was on, you had to leave before the ending. And you want to see the ending, even though you have seen the movie before. So you lay in bed, fight the urge to sleep, and watch the entire movie. Then when it ends at 2 in the morning, you aren't tired, so you change channels and "Driving Miss Daisy" has just started. You have never seen it, so you start watching it, get tired again, fight sleep again, because you want to watch the movie. Then when it goes off, you aren't tired again, and you lay in bed being miserable, trying to force yourself to sleep. So when you wake up after having had minimal sleep, you hate everything.

That is me right now.

I can't take a nap because naps make me mega cranky.

My life is so difficult right now.

p.s. If you tell me I am having a 'case of the Mondays' I will probably, definitely hate you forever.

p.p.s. Am I the only person who gets the song that Zazu sings in the Lion King, stuck in their heads when they are in a bad mood? You know the one he sings when Scar has him in the Rib Cage cell? "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen. Nobody knows my sorrows."

  1. Oh my God, I hate it when Angels and Demons comes on late at night and I have to watch it, followed by Driving Miss Daisy. This happens all the time. (Or some crazy combination of movies)

I am sorry you are tired and crabby today. I hit the snooze button for 2 hours and 14 minutes this morning. No motivation whatsoever.

    1. I appreciate the sympathy.

I certainly hope you had nowhere to be this morning. 2 hours and 14 minutes is a long time to be htiting your snooze button.

  4. I watched "baseball Wives" last night to help me pass out. It did the trick, despite the craziness and yelling on the show.

I can't nap, either. If I nap I'll be a pissy horror the rest of the day.

    1. I always fall asleep with the TV on. I get freaked out and hear random noises if it is quiet.

  5. Hahaha...love it. I do this all of the time. And Lion King rocks...I sang along when we saw it in 3D. Andrew was embarrassed.

  6. P.S. I feel like I need to start a blog just so I can comment on yours and not have to write my name every time.

    1. Or since your name is only 3 letter and not hard to type, just suck it up.

  7. You are having a case of 'the mondays'. Bring on the hate, baby. Also, I don't think you are.

    1. I guess someone was bound to say it. Although since I didn't have to be at work til 5 p.m., I don't think it counts.

  8. I do something similar almost every night. At 8 I am looking forward to bedtime, but about 10 o' clock, I don't want to go to bed. Just watch tv.

  9. Do you....do you think we're related? Because I did this last night, so surely, we must share the same gene.
